Charge d' Affaires (a.i) of the Sri Lanka Embassy in the Republic of Korea handed over the Commission of Appointment to Mr. Beung-gu Hur as the new Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in the administration area of Busan. The Mission appointed a Honorary Consul for Busan, with the aim of promoting and enhancing the trade, tourism, investment, labour and religious related cooperation between the Sri Lanka and the Republic of Korea. Mr. Hur has been working in close cooperation with the Sri Lanka Embassy and Sri Lankan community in the Republic of Korea to enhance the economic, labour, religious and people to people relations between the two countries. Mr. Hur has also been working in close cooperation with the Sri Lankan Community in Deagu and Busan in assisting them with labour related issues. We believe Mr.Hur would be a great addition to the our team of Hon. Consuls in Republic of Korea and wish him all the best for his new position.
