The National Federation of Fishery Cooperatives (NFFC) of the Republic of Korea together with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Seoul organized an awareness programme on 06th December 2022 on the theme of "How to adapt in Korea quickly" for new workers from Sri Lanka who will start work in the fisheries sector.  The event was held at the training centre of the NFCC in Yang-Pyeong in Gyeng- ki-do. Ms. Lakshika Weerarathna, Third Secretary (Employment and Welfare) of the Mission, speaking at the event, provided useful information for the new workers on adapting to working life in South Korea and apprised them of the assistance and support provided by the Embassy for Sri Lankan migrant workers in the Republic of Korea.
