Ambassador Dr. A. Saj U. Mendis had a dinner reception with Hon. Park Sung-Joon, Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea and Spokesperson of the Ruling Party as well as the Congressman in-charge-of National Security and related issues. The reception was attended by Mr. John P. Park, Chairman and CEO of PAA Group, which is also the sole agent of SriLankan Airlines in the RoK and Ms. Rachel Lee of Global Marketing Team of Gold Medalist Company, a reputed media organization in the RoK. During the dinner reception, Dr. Mendis and Hon. Park Sung-Joon covered and addressed myriad issues, particularly, of international nature as well as global developments including bilateral relations between the RoK and Sri Lanka and issues related to Sri Lanka, amongst others. Hon. Park Sung-Joon is a highly respected and influential member of the APEX political body of National Assembly of the RoK.
