Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Republic of Korea, Savitri Panabokke attended the Global Friends Night, organized by the International School of Urban Sciences (ISUS) of the University of Seoul on 21st August 2023.
In her remarks to the gathering of students, academia, private sector and diplomatic corps, the Ambassador congratulated the ISUS on its 10th anniversary. She also highlighted the important role the institution plays not only to provide a sound education but also to bring together students of different nationalities and cultures, thereby promoting friendship and understanding which is vital for these challenging times we live in.
The International School of Urban Sciences (ISUS) of the University of Seoul was established in 2013 and provides scholarship opportunities for international professionals and public officials in the field of urban science, At present, there are 3 Sri Lankan students studying in the International School of Urban Sciences of the University of Seoul.
Ms.Sachini Dias, Second Secretary of the Embassy also accompanied the Ambassador.
