Ambassador Dr. Mendis participates in the annual Katina Ceremony of the Sri Lankaramaya 

Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Republic of Korea Dr. A. Saj U. Mendis participated in the annual Katina Maha Ceremony of the Sri Lankaramaya in Daegu, on the invitation of Chief Incumbent of the Temple Ven. Katuwan Vijithawansha Thero, on 12 and 13 October 2019.  The staff of the Embassy too travelled for the Katina Ceremony on 13^th October and, particularly, to assist the Sri Lankan nationals with Consular services by conducting a comprehensive Mobile Service at the Temple itself.

During the visit, Ambassador Mendis and the staff met with Sri Lankan and Korean devotees who gathered to the Temple to attend the Katina Ceremony from various parts of the Republic of Korea.
