Ambassador Dr. Mendis visits the Korea- Sri Lanka Maha Viharaya

The Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Republic of Korea Dr. A. Saj U. Mendis called on the Chief Incumbent of the Korea- Sri Lanka Maha Viharaya, Most Venerable Dr. Thalgamuwe Dhammakitti Thero, at the Vihara Premises on 3 November 2019. During the meeting, Ambassador Dr. Mendis deeply appreciated the immense effort of  Dhammakiiti Thero on propagating the “Theravada Buddhism” among the Korean and Sri Lankan community in the Republic of Korea, especially by constructing a sacred temple depicting the standards of the “Theravada Buddhism”,  in an owned land, with the collaboration of Sri Lankan, Korean and other devotees.
