The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Seoul, in collaboration with the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI), Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI), Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Colombo and the Joint Apparel Association Forum of Sri Lanka (JAAFSL) organized a webinar on 12 August 2021, to promote  investment opportunities in the Apparel and Textile sectors in Sri Lanka among the potential Korean Investors. 

 The Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the RoK Dr. A. Saj U. Mendis, Ambassador of RoK to Sri Lanka Jeong Woonjin  and the Executive Vice Chairman of KOFOTI Kijune Kim addressed the webinar.

 A presentation on the Sri Lanka’s investment policy, investment opportunities & incentives in Sri Lanka was made by Chairman of Board of Investment of Sri Lanka Sanjaya Mohottala,while the second presentation by Assistant Secretary General of Joint Apparel Association Forum Sri Lanka (JAAFSL) Niranjali Weerasekara focused on the topic “Textile Industry and Investment Opportunities”. The webinar was followed by a Q & A session.
