Sri Lanka Embassy in Seoul officially commences work for the Year 2024

The staff of the Sri Lanka Embassy in Seoul, officially commenced work for the year 2024, on 1st January 2024,  at a ceremony conducted in the Embassy premises. 

The official ceremony began with hoisting of the National Flag of Sri Lanka by H. E. Savitri Panabokke, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Republic of Korea and singing of the National Anthem. The staff of the Embassy also took the Oath of Public Servants at the ceremony. 

Addressing the staff, the Ambassador thanked them for their hard work during the year 2023 despite a number of challenges and wished them and their families a happy and successful New Year. She also encouraged the staff to continue to perform as a team to achieve the work goals and objectives for the year 2024

Thereafter, the staff and  visitors to the Embassy enjoyed a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast to mark the dawn of the New Year.
