Embassy organises informal interaction between Sri Lankan professionals and students in Korea
The Sri Lanka Embassy in the Republic of Korea organized a friendly gathering over lunch with a representative group of the Sri Lanka Students’ Association in the Republic of Korea (SLSAK) including its executive committee, and Sri Lankan professionals in Korea, at the residence of Ambassador Manisha Gunasekera on 17th March 2018 in Seongbuk-dong, Seoul.
The gathering comprised a discussion on ways and means of enhancing interaction between the Sri Lankan professional and student communities in Korea, including on how the professional community can support the students. Dr. Mahanama De Zoysa, (Chungnam National University); Dr. Lalanath de Silva (Green Climate Fund); Prof. Anura Amarasena (SOL International School (SIS), Woosong University); Dr. Chamilani Nikapitiya (Chungnam National University); Dr. Palinda Ruwan (Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology); Dr. Rohan Hettiarachchi (MEDRO ASIA); Mr. Ravi Bandara (Lanka & International Food Imports); Ms. Sanjini de Silva (Health, Wellbeing and Sustainability coach), and Mr. Sameera Darshana (President, SLSAK); and relevant diplomatic staff of the Sri Lanka Embassy participated in the gathering, among others.
