Ambassador meets President of Korea International
Cooperation Agency (KOICA)
Ambassador Manisha Gunasekera met
the President of the Korea
International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Lee Mikyung on Tuesday 27 February 2018 at KOICA headquarters in Seoul.
The meeting entailed discussion on Sri Lanka-Korea bilateral relations, Sri
Lanka’s development cooperation partnership with KOICA and future collaboration. Director General Mr. Kim Jihoon of KOICA, Southwest and Pacific Asia Department
and Second
Secretary of the Embassy Sasanga Nikapitiya were also associated with the
meeting. KOICA’s support of grant aid
and capacity building is offered to Sri Lanka on a wide range of sectorsincluding
education, industry, infrastructure, governance, environment, health, energy,
agriculture and fisheries, forensic science, and emergency response.
